This was a commission done for R3 Forum member Go Dorito, who’s been patiently waiting for his turn in the queue for a long time now.
Go and I share a lifelong love for all things Shellhead, so it was a blast working on this concept piece for him. Toni Hogan is from Go’s concept world Iron Legion, a fanfic comic he’s been developing, which you can read about here. The character is the daughter of Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan, inheriting the armor and company in a cyber-future full of rancor and repulsors.
Based on some descriptions he gave me, I tried to give Toni Hogan’s armor a distinctly female look, with the curvy breastplate and the cut of the armor plate bands that hang from her shoulder plating and belt. The chest beam design is a slit, which is designed to evoke an opposite shape to the conventional circular beam socket, and I gave her repulsor fingertips. The opponents here are a gang of toughs using slimmed down Iron monger-based armors.
There is also a variant version of the armor available on the TRDL site’s Tribute gallery, which shows the armor in a slate grey with shoulder insignia, a chameleon-armor design (with cloak off.) Hope you dig it! I had the opportunity to give this to him in person, and Go’s enthusiasm was heard for blocks around!
You can see this illustration herein the TRDL Tribute Gallery.

Not everyone in the TRDL Universe is so serious! The Doberman is a C-Lister who’s accidental victory over the Portuguese hero Lusitano rockets him into the media consciousness, to the embarrassment of the US government.

Origin:
Pitt Fellows headed a modestly-scaled private security company in Waco, Texas, combining his love of dogs with his desire for cash and the excuse to be close to the wealth of others. Having a minor sheet in the system, thanks to a number of petty crimes committed in his youth, his company was registered to a false identity, in order to evade inconvenient questions about his trustworthiness and history, which passed the cursory background checks of his initial clients, themselves not keen on close examination of their own identities. From there, he built his client base on word-of-mouth, employing his brood of trained guard dogs to protect the properties under his watch.
Having been closely associated with an inmate jailed for cybercrime, Fellows had hatched a scheme with his cellmate and future partner, involving the use of integrated cybercams and A/V recording gear surgically implanted onto the dogs’ skulls, a technology application experiencing an upsurge in experimentation after the successful use of POV cams in trained birds and sea life employed by the military. His partner, Clyde Harrison, designed the gear and forged the false identiies for the new company, and Fellows used … Read on for more awesome…
