This was done for the TRDL R3 jam, the subject being Sif.

I haven’t seen Sif in the comics in a looooong time. I was never a Thor fan growing up, and my exposure to this character was largely in the Marvel Handbooks and various random reads here and there. Now, I LOVE the Thor book currently being produced, and I hope she makes a return. I was inspired by a beautiful painting by Adi Granov on this one, costume wise.. I actually think I got a little personality in her expression and posture.

This was done for the TRDL R3 Jam, the subject being the X-Men villain Mister Sinister.

Tough time here. Not my favorite period in X-Men continuity, or Marvel Comics period. In fact, it was around this time i left comics altogether for a spell. Guh. Never felt this character. KISS as a villain. WOW. However, I’ve subsequently seen more interesting takes on him, and the retconnish attempts to interweave him backwards into Marvel continuity as a gene-manipulator have been intriguing. I was very tempted to redesign him in a steampunky style, but decided to see i I could do something with his classic look. I think it went OK. As OK as a supposed super-villain with elf boots on and lipstick could be. Note I left the lipstick off.
