 Re: CURRENT R3 Jam: Pirates!
I will likely put a few different pieces into this one. Mostly penciled stuff, but me likes drawing pirates.

Here is my pic, Sandokan and Ada Corishant. I'm practicing my inking with pen nib. I found a book called The Art of Joseph Clement Coll, wow, he was a master!!

 Re: CURRENT R3 Jam: Pirates!
Fine job, Tulio. I like the contrasting methods of laying down the strokes for the different areas, like how the sky contrasts with the ground at the front.

 Re: CURRENT R3 Jam: Pirates!
it is difficult to convey just how much I love this piece, Torsten. So incredibly smokin hot.

 Re: CURRENT R3 Jam: Pirates!
Thank you, guys, I wanted to try something different and also I practice with the pen nib, it was fun. Torsten: I love the details, the skull on her hat, the tats on her arms, the bottle and the skull between her legs! Wow! Here is another pic: Attachment:

 Re: CURRENT R3 Jam: Pirates!
Well, it's enough to get the idea across, anyway. The rest of my week is booked solid; I wanted to get in on the first wave of this jam; and, as you can see, this design would allow for an indeterminate timespan of fidgeting with details. Hence the sketchy b&w sandwich with scrumptious gradient filling. 8^D* And yes, the mix of genres was carefully calculated to overload primary processing units. >8^j* Fabulous theme jam choice! And delightful contributions, everyone! _________________ Gnabbist -- calling for a ration of grog all around for the ARRR3 Army

 Re: CURRENT R3 Jam: Pirates!
I didn't do steampunk but I wish I did, let me tell you! Best thing here is the depth of field. It really parses. Excellent!

 Re: CURRENT R3 Jam: Pirates!
Nabbist that is totally cool. I have not had any time to even draw anything yet. Between trying to finish this ten page story I am doing and the work I am doing along with trying to get enough stuff drawn to sell as prints at Wizardworld Philly in a couple of weeks, I have been overloaded.
Which is pretty damn awesome.
