 This Week Jam: Cate Archer.
Cate Archer from No One Lives Forever
I'm not altogether familiar with this character but I had been saying to Vlad that she reminds me of Liz Hurleys character from Austin Powers

The last image here is a nice "graphic". Anyway, hope y'all have some fun this week. Remember that Vlad's away some that means we can all go hog wild and throw a party! Just means we have to tidy up before he gets back
Can't wait to see all the great drawings.
-Darren.

That was a bright and early post! Yipes, no bonus time for the color version of my Songbird picture! Ah well, it's 5 am and I just got in, I'm not coloring squat except for the entire world, black, when I close my eyes. Anyway, who knows, maybe I'll contribute again if I can muster up the innitiative, never played 'er games, but I have spent a lot of time fixated on 'er in computer gaming magazine ads.

Unbelievable. I'm continually pleased and impressed how many of the characters from tis jam are coincidentally in my to-do queue of refs spanning years back. I pulled the cover card to a JB game demo which featured this character... what, years ago! Awesome.
Still wrapping up Songbird, but this will be a fun one.
You know I like spies...

Great! My husband plays these games. I've watched it some, and like the character. I'll have to read over the game literature.

I so dig the Brit-mod styling of this character. It seems like the clothing/costume possibilities could be endless!
I contend that this character, if compared to the Austin Powers movies, shares more similarities with Heather Graham's character from the second movie. (This from a guy who's never played the game, mind you.) Liz Hurley's character was like an accountant or a paper-pusher or some shit, in addition to being a fembot. Where H.G.'s character was another spy, albeit of the American variety.
Just an observation.

You'll know better than I IL...I've only seen one Austin Powers movie the whole way through and that's the first one. I've seen the majority of the one with Beyonce in it but not all of it and none other.

Ouch. I feel for you man. Really. And then I'm embarrassed, too, that the rest of the worlds idea of modern American cinema is ... blech! ... Beyonce.

[Nodding my head in agreeance with Thom] Nice use of the contrasts. I suspect there may be more of that this week!
A very strong image and congrats on being first!
