This was a GREAT commission job. Vlad, a fellow artist and col-collaborator in our Picture This! Collaborative Art Group, hired me to do an illustration of an 'obscure Marvel babe,' subjectivity factored in, of course. We knocked around a list of names, whittling it down to the Enchantress. Now, she's not what I would call obscure, but she's certainly not seen everyday slugging it out with Wolverine, so for non-Marvel Zombies, I suppose she's a less-known character. When not either sexually manipulating or whalloping Thor's godly-ass, she's also been known to wear the coolest Kirby costumes around, and this is my favorite of them. Actually, I guess she wore this once and awhile when fighting Ole Goldilocks... but I distinctly remember plenty of old Marvel stories where she was wearing an Asgardian bathrobe or whatever. Anyway, had a blast doing this piece, despite the pressure to please a fellow collaborator and all that.
