This was done for the "Flash" jam on WPD's This Week forum. Sadly, the forum is currently down, but the show must go on!

I drew the current Flash not too long ago, maybe last year, so I wanted to try something a little different. I'm not particularly versed in the whole Flash mythos, other than what I've picked up through the general DCU books without following the title regularly, but I've always thought, of the "Flash family" that Jesse Quick was a neat character, basically a female Flash with a youthful and competitive spirit. Or at least, she was, back when I was first aware of her, recent events notwithstanding. Anyway, I decided to do a TRDL redesign of Jesse Quick, if she were to take on the mantle of the Flash. I was going for a fun, flirty outfit that expressed that she had long, athletic legs and wasn't afraid to show them off. I kept a few of the classic Flash details, though i moved them around or reinterpreted them a bit. I hope you like it, as I had a blast doing it.... which was easy, since I was on the sun-soaked shores of the Maya Riviera at the time...
