This was one of several illustartions done by request for Advanced Iron #64, the oldest Iron Man fanzine, currently published on the web. The Thunderbolts image was a composite of several single figures rendered separately. Being not particularly familiar with the history of the team other than the initial Masters of Evil connection, I don't have any attachment to the characters. I took some license with Jolt. She's frequently presented like some sort of arching tart from the mid-90s, so I tried to pull back from that and give her a lighter, more fairie quality. Her look is sleek and streamlined and fit, but I wanted her to look more graceful. Plus, since virtually every Tbolts member seems to have the ubiquitous black spandex on somewhere, I decided to lighten her up to a softer cobalt blue.
