This was done for an art forum illustration jam, the subject being the X-Men character Jubilee.

Jubilee started off as a hybrid between DC's Robin and X-Men's Kitty Pryde, no longer with the team at the time, and was created during the early 90's low point for creative energy at the company, ironically when they had their biggest artist-hype boom underway. The character was born from suckage, and slid downward from there as far as I'm concerned, until she was finally freed from her Robin-lite shackles, and actually written like a teen, in the pages of Generation X. This was where I most enjoyed the character, and so this is what I chose to draw. No yellow trenchcoats and old lady sunglasses on this site!
