Every now and again, I need inspiration to work on the comic. No better source than drawing a random character. I'll either pick an old one of my own or create a new one, as evidenced by the TRDL character section, or i'll flip randomly through a Marvel Handbook or Who's Who issue and fine some whacked character i've never drawn before, and give em my attempt at a revamp. SOmetimes, like with this one, I try not to change the design, just draw them my style. So I chose Killer Frost literally at random. When I read how she appeared to be middle-aged and kind of hard-edged, I decided to try and draw her so, less sultry and youthful like most of the examples I found. So, as a result, it's not an exciting, sexy image by any means. But she looks cold and mean, to my eye, which was the point.
