This was a sketch commission for a client that specifically requested Spider-Woman snaring a thug with her 'sticky webs'... so I got right to it, and didn't stop to note that she never actually cast webs in the first place. But she liked the preliminary sketch, so we went with it. Oddly enough, in hindsight, I wonder if she meant this to be an EROTIC sketch, if you see what I'm sayin'...and just didn't correct me once we got going. ANyway, I LOVE this character design, and now that Brian Michael Bendis has brought her back for the Avengers book, I expect to see more of her.
